Halloween Hoorah
Our Halloween was really fun this year. As normal, my pictures are chronologically backwards- but since you were not here for all the parties, you probably don't really care. :)
This was Cole and Aaron of Friday night. Isn't Cole the cutest little skeleton baby you have ever seen?! (It's a toss up though, Julie, between him and Preston).
Todd had a Halloween party at school. It was so much fun and I got to go and help out with it. They had a parade and lots of home made treats (what ever mom made those cake ball mummies is amazing. They tasted SO good!) and they all got to eat a doughnut off the string and play some fun games. It was really fun to see Todd in action and Brooklyn enjoyed joining in as well.

Brooklyn's preschool party was Saturday night. This was the door to go inside.
This picture is Aaron and I enjoying our church trunk or treat, also on Saturday. I will shamelessly admit, I ate all the chocolate bars out of my kids bags... and enjoyed e-v-e-r-y bite.
Me and my lion cub- I had 3 skeleton costumes and we used them for a party on Friday and I threw them in the washer on Saturday but they were not dry in time so we dug out our older costumes. A lion and a pumpkin. Todd's skeleton did dry in time.

Todd, obviously enthused to be in the parade and the ward trunk or treat.

One of the best parts about living in a small oil field town is that the (rich) oil companies do some really great things for the town. Friday nights party was at the Rec Center where all the kids got free shirts, flash lights, a bag of all sorts of fun things, free dinner and a whole bunch of really fun games, not to mention a bounce house and slide. It was so much fun!!
On a side note, Sunday was a big day. We have one ward in our small little town. But the numbers were almost 900 and some of us late comers (guilty) never got to see the soft seats during the meeting, only the hard seats in the far back of the gym, so they decided that it was time to make the split. It has been a pretty exciting deal, especially to some of the old timers who remember the small branch that met in a members home. Aaron was super sad to be released from the boy scouts to take on the slightly busier job of executive secretary.
