Camping and boating!

Last weekend was a busy one. On Friday night we had our ward camp which was a blast! We have a really terrific bishop and a super fun ward and we had a lot of fun. Friday night, the bishop made scones and we had scones and smores. One of the men in the ward (Aaron's buddy from scouts) made up a home made thing that sounded just like a bear and then he walked around the camp and it sounded like there was a bear. It was hilarious! Saturday, the kids played games and an older couple in the ward taught square dancing and it was a blast!! After the camp out, we went boating with a few friends at the lake.

Aaron was a pro. He knee boarded (as did Todd!!) skied and tried really hard to slolem ski- but couldn't get up on it.

Cole was getting really fussy, but loved looking over the edge of the boat. So I set him toward the edge so he could look over the water and he got quiet. After a while I looked at him and he was sound asleep. It was really funny. My kids are really scheduled and are used to napping at the same time every day. This day was hard on Cole. He fell asleep at the table during lunch (but I missed this because the young women were doting over him and took really good care of him) and then he took his second nap on the boat.

This was at the ward camp out. Watch out for that stick pull. Those rippling muscles in my bum ripped a gaping hole in my pants.

This is our bishop playing with the kids. He was lifting the kids in a dead lift. Aaron and the bishop did the stick pull and they were in a stand still for a long time. Eventually the bishop won and Aaron admitted that his pride was a little hurt. He is used the being the strong guy who wins everything.
