Our trip to the Oregon Coast- extended version

We had a Heward family reunion a week ago where we spent a couple days on the Oregon Coast (Pacific City mostly).

We left on a Wednesday where we met all the siblings in Burley and then headed out Thursday morning. We took 4 cars, 16 grandchildren, 8 children (the parents) and 2 grandparents and drove the 9 hours from Burley to Portland. There we met up with the other two siblings and their 2 cute girls. Along the way we visited the Tallamock Cheese factory, saw the light house at Cape Meares and looked at the ocean and saw this really cool tree, then we went to our beach house and played our gutts out in the water.

Pictures of McDonalds on the way there.

At Josh and Whitneys house. We played and the kids the camped in the back yard.

Getting ready to go- the perfect place to pack the kids. On top by the Thule. Just kidding.

At the Tallamock Cheese factory.

Brooklyn taking Grandpa for a drive in the cheese wagon.

The two youngest grandkids- Cole at 8 months and Kira at 13 month.
Brooklyn's third birthday

Trying on wet suits

Brooklyn trying out her new "surf board" she got for her birthday. The water was really cold and this was the ONLY time she would get in the water.

The view from our beach house.

The beach you went to is only 1 1/2 hours from my parent's house. I grew up going there and to the Tillamook Cheese Factor every summer. I am so jealous of you guys! Looks like you had a lot of fun.
