Lots of pictures of lots of fun!

What do you think? Does Cole look like the other two?We have had a lot of fun today. Brooklyn pulled the tennis balls out of the toy box and was pretending they were her eyes. Too bad she couldn't see where she was going.
It has also been a beautiful day today. Warm enough that we could shed our big winter coats and trek around in jackets.
We have loved the nice weather and hope spring is on its way!!
Today we had Joy School. I taught and we spent the day learning about birthdays and doing birthday activities. This picture is out of order because the last thing we did was frost cup cakes but this was my beautifully decorated on.
We made little cats out of Rhodes Rolls. Start with 4 (ignore the big one. It snuck in there right before I took the picture.) Let them sit out 2 hours until thawed but still cold.
Smash two together and roll them out like a big snake. Shape as the body. (See ending picture) Take one ball and roll like a ball for the tale. Take the last ball and press flat and cut like a heart.
When all the pieces are put together, take scissors and cut the feet so it looks like there are two and then snip the body and tail of the cat so it looks like fur.
Let sit for 20 minutes to let rise a little. Then bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Let cool, play and eat. They were delish and simple enough that these little tykes could make them.

We also make cup cakes. I had candles printed on card stock and I let the kids color them and then they were heavy duty enough that they held up in the cup cakes.

I placed the cup cake on a plate and let the kids pick which color frosting they wanted and then I put all our decorating yummies on the plate and they were welcome to decorate their cupcake or eat them.
We colored a few pictures. We made birthday bracelet for the kids to wear. Todd is wearing his in the picture below.

We had a lot of fun and I had tons of fun preparing the lesson. It was fun to do what ever I wanted and not having to focus on a certain number or letter- although those lessons are fun too.

In other happenings- G's Dairy Delights is our very favorite ice cream place around. If you are ever in the area, you need to stop and get an ice cream place from G's. (It's also nice that they have a drive through window and I can swing by and get milk without having to haul all my kids in).
This is Cole enjoying his first ice cream- not really. I gave him the cone to take the picture and then took it away. He was a little sad about that. He is suddenly really interested in what the big kids are eating.
I think I was helping Todd eat his nasty bubble bear ice cream- bubble gum flavor and gummy bears... yuck. But it what he always picks and then he never can eat all his ice cream. (By the way, Todd took the picture below).
What good looking boys!!!
Anyway, we love being together and any time there is ice cream involved, it just makes it better. We love going to G's!

Enjoying life! Appears you have enjoyed the preschool as much as your children. Very creative and tons of fun. Your little guy is getting so big and handsome as always. We too are anxious for this nice weather. Played outside a lot yesterday. It was awesome. What are you all planning to do after graduation. Will Aaron be staying on with campus. Have a great weekend.

Can I please BEG you guys to make a road trip to Indy? I think the kids would have a blast and I just HAVE to see your sweet kids. We would be happy to host you here - it would be a squeeze but it would be SO FUN!

Those rhodes dough cats are adorable! I love rhodes dough by the way- you can do so much with it. And I think Cole really looks unique from the other two. I don't know if I've said this before, but it almost looks like your going to have a blondie, a brunette, and a red head for your first three kids!
