A day in the life....

There they are. My Todd and Brooklyn, or as they had me calling them all day, Diego and Dora. They have been rescuing animals and throwing their toys around all day- and having the time of their lives.

Todd was taking a go at it with the camera and he took this picture of Cole and I. Not too bad for a four year old.
Yesterday, we had Joy School at my house. Their attention spans were really small and I didn't plan enough activities- this was my attempt at getting them to watch a clip of Elmo's Numbers. We have a lot of fun at Joy School. Today it was at one of the other mom's houses and they learned about the letter G. All the kids planted a few tomato seeds. (Garden and Grow= letter G). Todd came home so thrilled. He explained over and over again how he planted a little tomato, called a cherri tomato because he likes little tomatos and we like big ones. He would run over to the table to check on the seeds and then exclaim that they hadn't grown yet. We told him it would take a little while. It was a super fun activity and I really hope that Todd's seed grows!!

On another note, I started training for my 5ks I am planning on running this summer. This year, Aaron and I have 3 planned. I am so excited for warm weather and all that comes with it!

How does Joy school work? Do you just have one mom there teaching? Or do all the moms stay and help out? Or what? Sounds fun!

It was so nice to see you at Leo's Place last month. I'm glad that I was able to meet Cole and I meant what I said, he is so cute in person, I could have squeezed his little cheeks right off of him.
