More "False Labor"

Today, I decided I wanted a second opinion. I decided that there was more to all this than "false labor" as my doctor called it. I was able to get back into my doctors office- but to a different doctor. The result: kidney stones, which is what the nurse thought might be going on when we spent Sunday night in the Labor and Delivery Unit. Today we discovered I had a few small kidney stones and a lot of fluid back up in my kidneys. I am so grateful to my wonderful husband, who was able to leave his internship early and get the night off UPS to go to the hospital with me and help with the kids. It was such a relief to have him there. This experience has been so overwhelming for me. I have so many different pains and feeling going on in my body right now that I feel strange, like I have no control.

So that is that. Now I just have to get through it all.

Today I was looking through the pictures on my camera. Last night, because Aaron was home, we were able to have Family Home Evening all together as a family. At the end of the evening, we lit our pumpkins for the kids to see and had root beer floats. All the kids wanted to do was stare at the pumpkins. So they sat on the rug by the door, watched their pumpkins and enjoyed their treat. (The pictures are out of order)
This was Saturday carving pumpkins with my Aunt Maureen's kids.

Really out of order- this was my two weeks left picture we took on Saturday.

Making the root beer floats for family home evening.
