Laundry Money

Because I still live in an apartment, I have to pay for my laundry. We have a laundry facility in our building- I look very forward to the day when I have my own washer and dryer (and dishwasher for that matter!!) Last week, I went to Target to do some shopping- I love that store! I made my way to the check out line to purchase all the many clothes I enjoyed buying for my little family and asked for ten dollars cash back. After I was done, I made my way to the customer service desk to trade my ten dollars cash in for my laundry quarters. The girl at the desk was young, but very kind. She opened each of the two registers and began counting out the ten dollars in quarters. I smiled. Usually, they just give me a roll of quarters and thats that. She continued, making little stacks. Then, when she ran out of loose quarters, she opened a roll of quarters- yup, thats right, the ten dollar roll of quarters- to finish counting out my money. When she was done, I thanked her and loaded up my pockets with the ten dollars worth of quarters and laughed as I walked of the store. I think I will stick to picking up my laundry quarters at the bank.

that is so awesome and you didn't say anything you are so nice. i probably would have told her before she broke open the roll of quarter.

So great, I wonder if she realized later, what she'd done. So been thinking of you a lot lately, I've been working on your blanket, its so cute, I don't think we've spilled the beans on the colors I picked, but its great. Some days I'm like their boy is going to love it, then I'm like, its kind of dainty for a girl. So I'm waiting to put the border on it until you have #3, that way it will definantly be a boy blanky or a girl blanky.
